Name: Prayer Request:
Rudi: Pray for the Yadav people in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan: Hello, we are Rudi and Asha. Living in India and working as missionaries among the Yadav people group. 57 million people and most of them die without hearing the Name of Jesus even once. Please pray that God will send out workers among them and that we will be able to raise local people in Christ so that they can do the job and we can move into other unreached areas among totally unreached people groups! We also want to open small schools in different places where there is no school yet. Please pray for us. If you want to get regular updates to pray more up to date you can write us back. yes.isles@gmail.com

LE:Acually this is a praise to a prayer request I sent in a couple weeks ago.  I asked for prayer for a friend who's mother is battling cancer.  As of a few days ago I hear that she nearly died and now she's getting stronger by the day, a miracle.  Praising God! And also continued prayer that God would completely heal her.  Thanks!

DJ:I need a lot of prayer.  I'm really struggling with an issue in my life and it's really difficult for me to turn from it and go away.  I realize God is control, but I'm frustrated and getting exhausted of the daily battle.  Thank you.

Meghan: I am writing you to ask for prayer for my mother Jannie Lewis. In March of 2007 she was diagnosed with brest cancer to the lungs. We all thought that she would get better, but since then she has gotten much worse. Her lungs keep filling up with fluid, and she is barly able to breath. Their are tumors in both the lungs, but thank the Lord they are only in the fluid and not on her lungs. However she has lost about fourty- six pounds and now weighs one hundred and twelve pounds. And her nutritionist told her that her body is in starvation mode. pretty much what that means is her body is not getting the nutrition it needs and therfore is working harder to stay strong.  She is very depressed and sad because she knows how hard this is for our family. The other night she had surgery to install a peg tube(stomach tube), and she starts her chemo tomorrow. She is worried about that as well because she does not want to lose her hair again. She is a very strong believer In Christ as well as our family. Just pray that her attitude will become positive so she can get well, and pray that God will heal her in some way. I also would like to ask you to pray for my little sister Melissa as well. She is nineteen and has no idea how sick mom is. The reason for this is they do not have a good relationship between each other. Just pray that she draws closer to God, and that she will soon be able to become friends with my mom again.

Hello my name is Stephanie Lightfoot. I am asking for prayer for my mother -in law- Margaret. On December 26, 2007 she was diagnosed with cancer. She was diagnosed with only one spot which was a praise for us cause it wasn't all over her body. She was going to the dr to get set up to start her chemo and radiation....there was a big halt to that when they found a blood clot in her neck. They put her in the hospital and give her blood thinners to get the blood clot to dissolve, which it did and then they took her off of the blood thinner and she was going to be sent home. Then the day that they were going to be sent home she ended up with another blood clot from her wrist all the way to her shoulder. she was put back on the blood thinner and they got the clot reduced but they were waiting for it to bust. It was a very hard time for her on top of the cancer and they sent her home after 16 days in the hospital and my father-in- law had to give her 20 shots after she got out of the hospital. She recovered from the clots and was doing good. They got her started on her radiation which after her first radiation treatment she started to run fever and the dr's have no idea why. She was admitted back into the hospital on February 25, 2008. She had one treatment of chemo and had about 9 treatments of radiation. They put a stop to the radiation and chemo until they figure out why she is running fever. She is undergoing a whole lot of test to figure out what is going on and it is wearing her out. She is usually a very strong positive lady but now through all of this she is down and is thinking negative about things and she really needs prayer for the cancer, for being able to take the treatments and also that she will start to think positive about all of this and know that God will heal her and she will be able to overcome all of this. She is a believer and is praying to God all the time for strength and guidance. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from all of the Lightfoot family. Sorry its so long we are in desperate need for restoration of this wonderful lady.

Rachel: Hey, I just have a really big praise! God is listening.
I wanted to tell everyone who’s writing in to just keep holding on. Your faith is a precious thing and God will bless you for it. Never forget that He is Everything. Whatever you are missing, however you are hurting, whenever you need wisdom, he is the answer.
I’m reading a really cool devotional by Ken Hemphill, called The Names of God. From it, I am learning that, indeed, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are saved.” Using the name Elohim, God reveals himself as our Creator, an all powerful God, and our Sustainer.

All will be in my prayers. God Bless.

Kayli: I am seventeen years old and just found out that the moles I just got removed have cancerous cells and its really scary. I don’t technically have skin cancer but the doctor said that I have a real high chance of it turning into skin cancer. Please pray for healing and that God will help me to be strong. Second, please pray for my grandma who just had eye surgery. Third, please pray for college decisions. I want to go to SMU but I wonder sometimes if it will be the right school for me. Lastly, for now, I pray for you bob. I pray that you continue to share the enthusiasm you show for Christ because it is contagious! Thank you so much again!

Ak: there's alot going on right now i guess. my family does foster care and there's two situations there. One of my foster sisters is the same age as me, and we're good friends. but she's said some things when she was angry that ppl heard and told-- even though they weren't true. so she's going to have to leave the house in less than a week. and she really doesn't want to. she's trying her hardest to get people to listen to her so she can stay, but at 15, that can be hard. and then there's another foster sister-- she went home like 7 months ago, but shes into major trouble again ((im talking sleeping around, drugs, alchohol, smoking, stealing her dad's car.....)) and shes in a dentention center at the moment. we're trying to get it so she can come here again, and she wants to, but they may not allow it because of her level of trouble. when she was here last time, she was so close to making a decision for Christ--- i just hope she can come back so she can work towards that again.  and as a final thing, my nephew who's 13 has been being beat up by a bunch of kids. they went to the police about it, and with information my nephew has, they found out who the kids are. scary thing is, they're a major gang in their area-- one that wouldn't think twice about a gun or knife. and my nephew hasn't even done anything. Please ask God to place his hand on our family; this is only the surface of the chaos we're undergoing right now. thank you all

David: It's my Senior year this year.  I'm worried about many things right now.  Most of them, I could probably blame on a lack of faith on my part. I've got a friend who's enlisted in the Marines, and he'll be officially joining in July.  It's something he's always wanted, so on that note, I'm really happy for him.  On the other hand, I've got a really bad feeling about him joining up.  It's really starting to get to me. Another of my friends has been having problems for many years now, and the doctors still can't figure out what's wrong with her.  They've thrown some ideas out there, some of which aren't really flattering and are a huge blow to her confidence and integrity.  She's even talked about suicide on occasion.  All of our friends know she wouldn't dare, but I know that depression is very unpredictable. The other two Seniors in my Youth Group (and myself) are starting to freak out about what we're going to do next.  One of the other guys has always wanted to play in the MLB, and now he's worried that he won't even get a chance to play NCAA ball.  Then the other guy (that's right, all four Seniors in my Youth Group are guys) is wondering if he really is being called to be a Chaplain with the Marines. Then I'm also starting to worry about what I'll be doing as the next step.  I've considered working full-time for a year or two then starting college.  If I don't do that, then I'm still considering my options of what I want to do later on.  I've considered programming, graphic design, advertising, and even becoming a councilor
